The short answer is: anyone who wants a closer walk with the Lord and is serious about gaining a deeper understanding of His ultimate purpose in the world. Foundations takes you through all of history highlighting the central thread of God’s redemptive purposes.

The course is a good overview of the curriculum, World Christian Foundations. It provides an excellent way for prospective WCF mentors, facilitators, or students to orient themselves to this revolutionary program.
Foundations is a graduate-level, 2-unit course offered through William Carey International University. You need to be enrolled in one of WCIU’s degree programs to take this course. You can contact

Foundations is also offered at the certificate level through the Winter Institute of International Development. This is open to anyone who is interested in continuing their learning. You can also contact

It costs $100 to take Foundations, either for certificate or for credit.

If you want to take Foundations for certificate, all you need is a willingness to learn and to study about God’s plan for the nations!
The Foundations class is offered once a quarter, starting every January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
Foundations is a 10 week course.
The transferability of WCIU credit varies from institution to institution.
Unfortunately the Foundations reader is only available for enrolled students, but we feel that every serious Kingdom worker should own the following books that are used in the Foundations course:
